Did you know that there are legal building regulations in the UK that specify fire alarm positioning in a building? In England and Wales, all residential properties must have:
- Smoke alarms on each storey as well as circulatory spaces (e.g., hallway or landing)
- One heat alarm in the kitchen spaces
